The Challenge

We had started the journey incredibly well with the Makers of Possible ‘Hippo’ work, but we now wanted better brand recall and to use the name in a fun and relevant way to show we are here to help and engage with new and existing audiences.

The Insight

Whatever life throws at you, you should have the support needed to meet your wants, dreams and aspirations.

The Action

We brought the 50-year-old logo to life, creating the I&F characters with distinct personalities that illustrated how they can help. This launched across a national TV, OOH, digital and social campaign, combining brand building activity with acquisition, to deliver quality leads to the website. We also had an extensive instore campaign along with internal communications and our characters even made an appearance at the company Christmas Party.

The Results

Through bringing to life the characters ‘I’ and ‘F’, we achieved significantly better brand recall and our most important metric, ‘trust’, also increased. This translated to business results with an uplift in applications.
